If You Love Copper or Colored Glass...

...Then you've got to see these vintage finds that just went in the shop.  6 Wilson's got some new pieces, and I thought you might like a peek.

Don't you love the patina on these?    The kettle (here), which I would use as a watering can for my deck flowers -- but I'm not because it's for one of you out there, has such charm...

The hardest part of having a shop is not keeping the inventory for yourself.  It's hard, my friends, very hard.  This copper bowl, from a gorgeous old estate, is one example.

See more of this bowl here.

And if you like glass pieces, these three green lovelies can work as candle holders...

or if you prefer, fill them with flowers...

I don't know when they were made, but they are made in Italy, as the bottoms are stamped...

Maybe my favorite new addition to the shop is this little guy, a small brass bell with the sweetest rooster on top.

So come on over to the shop and check them out.  And have the greatest of weekends!!  Talk to you soon,

Client Bathroom Progress

Hi all, it's been a bit, hasn't it?    Since the One Room Challenge, I've been doing client work, 6 Wilson stuff, and well, keeping really busy with life in general.  You know how that goes.

I thought I'd bring you up to date on the progress of a client bathroom that I first showed on Instagram last summer!  This project has been incredibly slow going because that busy life thing has taken a toll on my client, but I thought I would show you some major changes that have occurred.  Here is the before...

And here is where we are at now...

The tub area before, and then the tub area in progress...

And here is a peek at the progress.  We have installed all new floors and shower tile, changed out the cabinetry, replaced the tub, and gotten as far as the paint in these images (door still needs paint).  The color is accurate in the first after image.   Still more to go, with some open shelving, lighting and accessories, but a major difference is already happening, yes? (It cracked me up when I realized the same towel is in the before and the in-progress!)

Here is another bathroom I've just started, after completing two in this client's house already.  This is how it was when we met last week...

The only thing staying in this bathroom will be the vanity, with a new paint color.  The quartzite countertop (lower right) has been approved, along with the floor (right above the granite), and the accent marble in the linear mosaic will be used in the tub surround, which will be done with a soft white subway tile.

I will share the complete design board for this bathroom when I'm done with it.

I hope you are having a good weekend, and enjoying this glorious Sunday.  Talk to you soon and thanks for stopping by,
